Our Services

The La Quinta Imaging Center offers MRI, Computed Tomography scans (CT), MRI Breast Imaging, Digital X-ray, Bone Density scans, and Ultrasound imaging.

Wide Bore MRI
Featuring a wider aperture than traditional MRI for greater patient comfort.
  • 70% of procedures can be performed with patients head outside of the gantry
  • Contrast free imaging
  •  3 Dimensional breast imaging
  • Ideal for claustrophobic patients and patients weighing more that 450 lbs.
Other benefits of this system include comfortable patient positioning, clear images even with patients with tremors; enhanced imaging of the spine to clearly show disk herniation, spinal cord lesions, nerve impingement, and more; and highly accurate pre-surgical planning.

Provides fast, high resolution diagnostic quality imaging capabilities for spine, joints, brain, and for patients weighing up to 500 lbs.

This diagnostic scanning device offers improved imaging, greater detail and better views of the shape, size and position of soft tissue structures, including coronary arteries and the whole body.

  • Featuring a wider aperture than traditional MRI for greater patient comfort.
  • Contrast free imaging
  •  3 Dimensional breast imaging
Our system also comes with a dedicated high resolution MRI Breast Coil and software that allows thin cuts and tissue supression techniques which provide a complete overview of the breast and surrounding tissue. With the openess of the MRI unit and unobstructed view, the patient's comforts is also a key benefit.

Our digital x-ray allows images to be maintained on disk instead of fild and stored electronically.  Uses low-does radiation to produce images of tissues in the body.  We offer x-ray services on the GE Definium Digital X-Ray system.

Measuring bone density, dexa scan is used to diagnose osteopenia and osteoporosis.

Measures bone density and is used to diagnose osteopenia and osteoporosis. Uses low-energy X-rays to scan the lower back, hip or forearm. This helps to help diagnose osteoporosis, a disease that weakens bones and makes them more brittle and susceptible to fracture.

Ultrasound technology uses high frequency sound waves to create images.

Uses sound waves to form images of the body's interior. We use the GE Logic 9 Digital Ultrasound system. Procedures that are performed with ultrasound include obstetrical, abdominal, vascular, cardiac, and gynecological imaging.
